Protecting Women’s Rights

Women's health care decisions need to be made between the woman and her doctor and should not preclude any procedure that will save the woman's life. It should also not reach into areas of in-vitro fertilization (IVF) or contraception. The government should not make laws that would prevent this decision-making process between a woman and her doctor.

  • I will support the Women’s Health Protection Act health care providers’ ability to deliver abortion services and patients’ ability to receive these services free from medically unnecessary and onerous restrictions.

  • I will propose legislation to protect all forms of contraception for women so they have the right to choose.

  • I will work to keep IVF a medical procedure that allows parents the opportunity to have the children they are seeking. The government and the courts should not put restrictions on this procedure.
